How it works

Four steps, no manual. The point of the magnetic wake-up and the motion trigger is that nobody has to think about it with gloves on and a whistle in their mouth.
01 / Charge
Set it on the base.
Connect the USB-A charging base and drop the ring on — the contacts pick up automatically.
02 / Activate
Wake it with the magnet.
Touch the magnetic key to the ring. No fiddly switch to find while wearing gloves.
03 / Play
Movement does the rest.
Once active, motion triggers the LEDs — passes, pick-ups, drills and glow games.
04 / Auto-off
It powers down on its own.
Left still for about three minutes? The lights go out, so the ring is not lit up in the bag.

From an idea to the ice.
is a Hong Kong company developing LED sport products, with product development and supply coordination in Guangzhou, China. We build light-up gear for ice sports — and we are starting where a glowing ring actually changes how a session feels: the ringette community.
The ring exists because players kept losing sight of a dark ring on dark ice. It is deliberately built to the size and weight of the mini practice ring players already use, so it behaves like equipment they know rather than a novelty in the shape of one.
We are early, and we would rather be honest about that: we want clubs, coaches and distributors to test the ring with us, tell us what fails, and shape the next version.

Can I use it in a sanctioned game?
No. A Ringette Canada–approved game ring is blue, pneumatic rubber, 163–168 mm outside diameter and 160–170 g. The GLACILIT LED ring is built for fun training, recreational play, club nights and events — it is not a competition ring.
Are you affiliated with Ringette Canada or any association?
No. GLACILIT is an independent brand. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or licensed by any ringette association, federation or league, and we do not use their marks.
Does the shell colour decide the LED colour?
No. Red, blue and orange describe the shell. Every version carries multicolour LEDs, so the light effect is the same whatever shell you choose.
How long does a charge last, and how long does it take to charge?
Tell us how you intend to use it and we will send the current datasheet figures for runtime and charge time before you order. We include the datasheet with every sample rather than publishing a number we cannot stand behind.
How do I switch it on while wearing gloves?
The ring is woken with the magnetic key — nothing to press and no switch to find through a glove. Once it is active, motion triggers the lighting.
Does it switch itself off?
Yes. With no movement for roughly three minutes the LEDs go out, so the ring does not sit glowing inside a kit bag.
Do I ever have to replace a battery?
No. The ring is rechargeable on its USB-A charging base, so there are no disposable coin cells to buy or swap.
Do I have to send feedback or video to buy a sample?
No. A normal sample order is just a purchase: you pay for the ring and the shipping. Feedback and video only matter if you join the separate feedback refund program.
How does the test refund work?
You pay for the sample and shipping upfront by PayPal. Before you pay, we agree in writing what feedback and video you will provide, by when, and the refund amount. The refund depends on delivering that — not on writing a positive review.
How is it shipped, and what about the battery?
Samples ship by express courier with the lithium-battery documentation the carrier requires, including the UN38.3 test summary. Larger orders can be arranged by sea. We quote shipping before you pay, so there are no surprises.
Is it safe for children?
It is sports equipment, not a toy, and it should be used under adult supervision. Check the shell for cracks or damage before each session and stop using it if the ring is damaged. It is not intended for children to disassemble, and it should be kept away from excessive heat.
Can you put our club or event logo on it?
Yes, subject to a minimum order quantity and a written licence for the marks you want us to print. Send us the artwork and quantities and we will confirm lead time.
